Grape Picking adventure. Japanese Kyoho grapes are by far the most flavorful grapes you’ll ever taste. And they are huge!
During September all across the eastern area of our city there are countless grape farms, where anyone can come and pick and partake at a reasonable price.
We also learned that the Japanese way of eating a grape is to remove the skin, because it hinders the true flavor. I guess they haven’t heard of all those “grape-skins contain great anti-oxidant powers” stories. The old man in the yellow shirt was one of the most friendly guys we have met. He was giving out freebie bunches o’ grapes and even his own mochi-frozen grape treat.
