We embarked on a pretty epic road trip this past weekend driving all along the coast of southern Kyushu heading east over to Miyazaki and rounding out the bottom up to Kagoshima on the west. The nature on Kyushu is unbelievable, these photos hardly do it justice.

The first stop of our road trip was Takachiho Gorge 高千穂峡 in Miyazaki prefecture. People can rent boats and row themselves around the scenic gorge.
