We recently went a exploring around the nearby mountains.  Our city isn’t quite surrounded by large mountains, unlike on Shikoku or other cities we have visited.  But we were able to find a short pleasant hike that made us feel like we were hiking back home in SLC.  We really enjoyed it and plan on hiking it often.
