It’s a well known fact that most artists have muses. For Tyler, his are empty parking garages. On our second date, Tyler asked me if I wanted to go on a photography adventure with him—like us nerdy photography students do—to sneak into some parking garages in the middle of the night. I thought he was crazy for wanting to go to parking garages. They are at best blocky, chunky cement mazes; at worst, they are the demise of true architectural skill and design. But the images he captured astonished me. When I saw an unattractive concrete, fluorescent heap—he saw lines, angles, symmetry, geometry, horizons, gradients, mathematics. By now, I am unfazed by him pausing while we are walking down the street because he sees angles and dimensions that need to be captured. I so appreciate that he pursues his true talents and continues to progress his art. He’s got such an eye for photography and we should all be grateful to have artists among us. So it’s a proud wife moment to announce (on his behalf) that he has finally fully designed and created his website:
