Samantha had the opportunity to be a writer and editor of the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Workshop.  Every night she worked extremely hard on this project, on top of her studies, Animal Law Review duties, and child advocacy work. Mauritania continues to have traditional slavery practices, despite their laws stating its illegal status. Samantha is very human rights geared and enjoyed taking on the task of slamming down ideas such as slavery. I am very proud of her and how easy-going she has been through law school.
